Our Healthcare Heroes program allows you to make a donation in honor of a special caregiver in your health or in the health of your family. We will send a personal letter to your Healthcare Hero, acknowledging them of your donation in their honor.
Your donations will benefit the Patient Assistance Fund at your Sentara hospital. You can provide invaluable services such as:
Medications, like those to help cancer patients with nausea, typically not covered by insurance.
Special garments for burn victims to reduce infection and disfigurement.
Transportation home for those who have no one to pick them up from the hospital.
