Putting these commitments into words, though, is just the first step. We want to empower every individual in the Sentara network to put these words into action.
Over the past year, almost 19,000 Sentara employees have completed Commitments training. This training speaks to the importance of the commitments and gives examples of behaviors that will take customer service to the next level. Additionally, all physicians practicing at Sentara hospitals and facilities are encouraged to complete this training. Everyone has a role in creating the extraordinary experience for our patients and customers.
Simple actions, when multiplied across the organization, can shape each encounter with Sentara to be a better one.
