Here are some essential questions to ask that will help you make the best decision: 
How is your radiologist credentialed? Is he or she board certified by the American Board of Radiology?
Exactly how much specialized training does your radiologist have? Does it include fellowship training in breast imaging?
How long will it take your doctor to receive test results to help speed up your diagnosis and treatment?
Look closely at the technology in use. Does your mammography center have computer-aided detection (CAD)?
Talk to the staff before you schedule an appointment. Are they knowledgeable and able to answer your questions about the facility and the physicians reading your mammogram?
How does your mammography center follow up a positive indication of cancer? What kind of technology is in use to assure you the best possible outcome?
