MissionSentara Healthcare (SHC) Continuing Medical Education (CME) facilitates the development and provision of educational programs and materials of the highest quality. The overall purpose of SHC CME is to provide educational opportunities for the physicians and other health care teams to enhance and improve knowledge, attitudes, and skills in order to provide the highest quality patient care in the region. The SHC CME endeavors to identify new and emerging health care needs, as well as evolving challenges in the provision of health care and plans to provide educational opportunities to respond to these needs.
