Biostatistician - Sentara Medical Group 

Sentara Medical Group is looking for a Biostatistician to work part time-days. This person will create and manage databases, perform queries and statistical analyses on data, assist in study design of new projects for residents, fellows and physicians of Urology of Virginia. Assist and co-author publications. Provide education to residents and fellows on research design and manuscript preparation. Individual will provide data management, epidemiologic, and biostatistical support for investigator-initiated research projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:  Master’s Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology. 

Experience:  At least 1 year of protocol and study design in a research center with investigator initiated trials.

Key Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities): Experience with statistical software packages (i.e. SAS, SPSS or Stata) and database management strongly recommended. Must have effective communication skills and the ability to deal well with people. Should have the ability to solve problems, appropriately confront issues, and motivate others as individuals and as a group.
