Sentara Heart Hospital, the region's first Magnet Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for their CICU. This position serves as a mentor by role modeling a professional practice consistent with organizational goals, customer service, clinical effectiveness, and standards of care. Responsible and accountable for daily operations of the CICU at Sentara's Heart Hospital on a twenty-four hour basis – seven days a week. Develops, implements, and monitor compliance to unit operating budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or actively working towards a degree with 9 credit hours per year commitment.
● Three years RN experience in an acute care setting with some supervisory/leadership experience.
● Currently licensed to practice as a RN
● Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities related to operations and systems management, HR management, and quality and customer service.
