Full Time at Sentara CarePlex in Hampton - DAY SHIFT
Supervises staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; maintaining regulatory status; assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring and developing staff with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Serves as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years recent bedside and management experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities related to operational and systems management, HR management and quality and customer service management. Able to develop highly proactive professional teams, provide excellent customer service to patients, staff and physicians.
BSN from an accredited college or university required.
Must be currently licensed to practice as an RN by the Commonwealth
of Virginia, or a recognized compact state
