The Radiation Oncology department at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital provides a variety of both inpatient and outpatient radiation therapy services. These services include external beam, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, HDR, brachytherapy, and a variety of radioisotopes to patient ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Our team consists of radiation oncologists who prescribe the treatment regimens which are then delivered by a collaborative team of staff. These staff members include medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and radiation therapists.
