Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the first in southeastern Virginia to be named a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Sentara CarePlex Hospital and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital have sent letters to the American Nurses Credentialing Center indicating that they are beginning the journey toward Magnet recognition.
