Volunteer opportunities are available at all Sentara hospitals. Please complete the online application including all names, addresses and phone numbers. Then select your hospital preference. Someone from the Volunteer Department will contact you to set up an appointment with the Volunteer Coordinator in 5 to 7 business days. Submission of application does not necessarily guarantee volunteer placement. Volunteer opportunities are available as hospital's need allows. Sentara does not participate in mandated community service hours.NOTE: Applications are currently not being accepted at some locations.
