The Sentara Wound Healing Center, at Sentara Obici Hospital has been serving the region since 2005, and is staffed by nurses who are certified and experienced in wound care. The wound care provided by the nurses is supervised by a full-time Infectious Disease Specialist. The clinic was recognized in 2007 with the CEO Award for Innovations in Practice.
