More than one-third of all adults cannot get a good night's sleep. With six beds and an experienced staff of registered polysomnographic technologists, the Sleep Center at Sentara BelleHarbour offers a full range of services to diagnose and treat sleep-related problems and disorders.

At the heart of our center is Dr. Charles Coleman, the Medical Director at Sleep Centers for Sentara BelleHarbour and Sentara Obici Hospital. He is board certified by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Medical Board of Sleep Medicine.

If you are wondering if you may need a sleep study, ask yourself if you have the following:

Loud snoring
Excessive daytime sleepiness and drowsiness
Tendency to sleep at inappropriate times
Inability to sleep or remain sleep
Sleepiness while driving
Acting out of dreams
Creepy, crawly sensation of the legs

If you have any of the above, we recommend contacting your physician or one of Sentara's Sleep Centers to learn more about potential treatment options.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sleep studies will be conducted six nights per week. Call (757) 983-0090 for more information.
