Plans for Sentara Princess Anne Hospital involve construction of a 5-story, approximately 330,400 s.f. facility, continuing the development of Sentara Princess Anne health campus.
Virginia Beach's latest hospital in more than 30 years will be future-ready including eICU an electronic monitoring system for critical care patients and Sentara eCare, a dynamic and secure information system making real-time clinical data accessible to caregivers simultaneously.
Scheduled for its first patients in Summer 2011, Sentara Princess Anne Hospital will open with all private rooms. The hospital is currently licensed for 120 inpatient beds, including 96 medical surgical beds, 12 obstetric beds, and 12 intensive care beds.
Features of the hospital include a family maternity center, heart catheterization laboratory, 6 operating rooms, and advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities.
