Before their practice name change, Sentara Virginia Beach Family Practice was recognized by The National Committee for Quality Assurance Physician Practice Connections Program—Patient Centered Medical Home (PPC-PCMH), and they were awarded a Level III NCQA recognition—the highest level awarded.
In addition to the practice recognition, many of the doctors themselves have been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for their care of diabetic and heart / stroke patients.
