Sentara Surgery Specialists 

The Sentara Surgery Specialist tradition is built on more than 40 years of striving to provide patients with high-quality, comprehensive general, thoracic, colon-rectal, bariatric, breast and oncological surgical services. All physicians are board-certified fellows of the American College of Surgeons.

Sentara Surgery Specialist physicians offer progressive, often breakthrough procedures. They also place much attention on the uniqueness of each person's condition. Because an individual's primary care physician knows a patient's medical history best, our physicians work closely with referring physicians to ensure they are aware of a person's medical and surgical needs.

This location also offers the services of a certified genetic counselor with Sentara Cancer Genetics Services.  

Sentara Surgery Specialists physicians regularly publish in national medical journals and speak at conferences across the nation. The physicians are on the faculty of Eastern Virginia Medical School and teach medical students, residents and surgical fellows about general, bariatric, thoracic, colon-rectal and oncological surgical services.
