means more than just good health. Now all members can participate in an online member reward program to earn CDs, DVDs, electronics, or clothing.
"It's nice to know theres a program that gives you something back for going to the gym," said member Stormy Hensberger, a 46-year-old Hampton resident.
Within two months of joining Sentara Hampton Health & Fitness Center, Hensberger earned enough points to purchase a namebrand coat for her husband.
"I got my husband a heavy duty coatone that will last him a lifetime," she continued.
More than 400 members are actively tracking their points and getting quality merchandise from an online catalog. Members earn points by using the club regularly, referring new members, or getting personalized instruction on how to use fitness equipment properly. And many members track their points at the fitness centers Internet accessible computer, making it easy to participate.
"fitRewards is an innovative way to offer our members more value for working out," said Mike Revere, Sentara Hampton Health & Fitness Center Site Manager. "We're excited so many of our members are participating in the areas only fitRewards programand getting healthier, too."

magazine and offers programs such as BODYPUMP, an innovative one-hour class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles. The fitness center is also a member of the International Health & Racquet Sportsclub Association (IHRSA). 17/2006
