L. Leslie Wasserman Jr., M.D., FACOG, is the newest member of the
Gloucester Medical Associates, a Sentara Medical Group practice, located at 2348 York Crossing Drive in Hayes. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Wasserman earned his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, N.C., after receiving his bachelors degree in zoology at Duke University. He completed his internship at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, and his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke Medical Center.
Dr. Wasserman was a United States Army major at McDonald Army Hospital. He has since been in private practice in Virginia Beach. In March of 2005, he began practicing at the center for Womens Health. He is a member of the Virginia Beach Medical Society, the Virginia Medical Society, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
