Dec. 10, 2007 – William G. Rudolph, M.D., is the newest member of
Southside Surgical Group, a Sentara Medical Group practice, located at 1080 First Colonial Rd., Ste. 200, Virginia Beach, Va. Dr. Rudolph specializes in colon and rectal surgery.
Dr. Rudolph earned his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco, Calif., in 1995 after receiving his B.S. in kinesiology at the University of California at Los Angeles in 1991. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn., in 2000 and completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Ky., in 2001.
Before moving to the Hampton Roads area, Dr. Rudolph’s professional experience included positions at hospitals in Oregon and Colorado. He is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
