Chesapeake, Va. – January 22, 2007 – Sequita M. Morris, M.D. is the newest member of
Chesapeake Medical Associates, a Sentara Medical Group practice, located at 213 Riverwalk Parkway, Suite 101, Chesapeake, Va.
Dr. Morris earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, N.C. in 2001 after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, summa cum laude, from Livingstone College in Salisburg, N.C. In 1997. She was valedictorian of her class. Dr. Morris completed her residency at Anderson Family Practice Residency, Anderson, S.C. in 2004.
She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Board of Family Physicians.
Prior to joining Sentara, Dr. Morris worked as a family practice physician at Family Medicine Associates of Corsicana, Corsicana, Texas.
Dr. Morris resides in Portsmouth.
