Optima Health, a Virginia-based health plan, launched its individual and family health plans
throughout Virginia this week. These plans are designed to make it easy for individuals to select health plan coverage, no matter what their budget or stage of life.

The three plans within the PPO portfolio are Optima FourSight, Optima Plus and Optima Equity.
Each of the plans encourages utilization of preventive care visits and screenings that help members maintain and improve their health. All of the plans provide prescription drug coverage.
The new plans from Optima Health are designed to appeal to consumers seeking different kinds of health plan coverage—from those who desire the security and coverage to protect their assets in the event of a major accident or illness to those who may need health plan coverage for a short time while they are transitioning from one job to another to those active young people who simply need a safety net “just in case.”
Among the options available are high deductible health plans that can be combined with tax advantaged health savings accounts (HSAs). Partnered with HealthEquity, Optima’s HSA plans are fully integrated which makes it easier for the consumer to manage their HSA.
