Sentara Welcomes Barbara Allison-Bryan, M.D. 

April 13, 2009 – Gloucester, VA – Barbara Allison-Bryan, M.D. has joined Gloucester Pediatrics of Sentara Medical Group. As a pediatrician, Dr. Allison-Bryan specializes in the care of infants, children and adolescents with emphasis on preventive care. Her office is located at 5659 Parkway Drive, Ste 230 in Gloucester, VA.

Dr. Allison-Bryan earned her medical degree from the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of Pennsylvania State University after completing her undergraduate at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. She served her pediatric and residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco followed by a fellowship in Neonatal Intensive Care at Moffitt Hospital of the University of California-San Francisco. She continued service in the United States Army until 1985. Dr. Allison-Bryan was in private practice in Tennessee and Williamsburg Virginia before her move to Gloucester.

Dr. Allison-Bryan is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Medicine and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
