April 13, 2009 – Hampton, VA – Daniel F. Shea, Jr., M.D. has joined Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists of Sentara Medical Group. As an anesthesiologist, he works closely with each individual, and all specialists involved in the patient’s care, to provide a comfortable and safe anesthesia experience. He serves patients through Sentara CarePlex Hospital located at 3000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton VA.
Dr. Shea earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson MS. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Worcester Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA and his anesthesiology residency at Harvard/Tufts Program-St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Shea is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Pain Management.
