April 7, 2009 – Williamsburg, VA – Michael E. Landis, M.D. has joined Vascular & Transplant Specialists (VTS), a specialty practice of Sentara Medical Group. Based in Williamsburg, Dr. Landis will provide comprehensive and individualized care in the diagnosis and treatment of blockages, clots and disorders of the veins and arteries. His office is located at 400 Sentara Circle, Suite 350, Williamsburg VA.

Dr. Landis earned his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School followed by a general surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN in 1999. He went on to a research and clinical fellowship in vascular surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston MA. Prior to joining Sentara Medical Group he served as Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis IN.

As a vascular surgery specialist he uses the most advanced technology and therapies in his practice to treat endovascular aortic aneurysm, carotid disease and utilizes minimally invasive treatment for arterial and venous restrictions, when feasible.
Dr Landis is board-certified by the American Board of General Surgery and the American Board of Vascular Surgery.
