Chesapeake VA – October 6, 2009 – Dr. John Malcolm has joined Urology of Virginia, a specialty practice of Sentara Medical Group. Based in Chesapeake Dr. Malcolm provides comprehensive and individualized care in the diagnosis, treatment and surgical care of urological problems. His office is located 113 Gainsborough Square, Suite 202, Chesapeake.
Dr. Malcolm earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University- Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 2003 He subsequently completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee, prior to his fellowship training in endourology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk.
Dr. Malcolm is a member of the Endourological Society and the American Medical Association. In his spare time he enjoys masters swimming, jogging, fly fishing, music, reading and travel.
