Virginia Beach VA –October 2009 – Dr. Tommy Sun has joined Family Medicine at Princess Anne, a primary care practice of Sentara Medical Group. As a family practice physician, Dr. Sun provides healthcare for all members of the family—infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. He has practiced in Virginia Beach for a number of years and now joins Dr. Jason Johnson at 1950 Glenn Mitchell Drive, Ste 300 in the Princess Anne area of Virginia Beach.
Dr. Sun earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in Norfolk and subsequently completed his residency in family medicine at EVMS.
He continues to serve as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice at EVMS. In 2007 Dr. Sun was awarded the Medical Society of Virginia Beach Physician of the Year award.
