April 13, 2009 – Hampton, VA – Stephen P. White, D.O. has joined Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists of Sentara Medical Group. As an anesthesiologist, he conducts pre- and post-operative evaluation and consultation with the patient and surgical team to create an anesthesia plan tailored to each individual patient, ensuring their comfort and safety. He serves patients through Sentara CarePlex Hospital located at 3000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton VA.
Dr. White earned his medical degree from the Des Moines University-College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Yale University School of Medicine: Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT where he also served as Chief Resident in his last year. Dr. White’s training included subspecialties of cardiac, chronic pain, pediatric, obstetrical and ambulatory surgery anesthesia.
Dr. White is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
