Hampton Roads, VA (July 2011)
– Neuropsychologists, Dr. Melissa Pence and Dr. Bethany Gilstrap, have joined Sentara Neurology Specialists
and have office locations in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Williamsburg.
Both neuropsychologists earned their Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Regent University in Virginia Beach and completed residencies at Hampton Roads Neuropsychology. As part of our comprehensive, top-quality neurology care team, Doctors Pence and Gilstrap work with a team of physicians to diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate patients with known or suspected neurological conditions such as:
• Memory loss
• Brain injuries
• Brain tumors
• Learning and developmental disorders
Our Neuropsychologists create a treatment plan based on a thorough evaluation of each patient’s needs and goals, and provide the individual and their family with support and education about their condition.
Living with a neurological disability can be hard for patients and those close to them, but our team is here every step of the way. Our neurology team spans the Hampton Roads Community, offering patients collaborative, high-quality care, close to home.
