Howard Kern honored at the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association's 85th Annual Meeting of Membership
Norfolk, VA (November 2011) – Howard P. Kern, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sentara Healthcare, is the 2012 Chairperson of the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association is an alliance of hospitals and health delivery systems that develops and advocates health care policy for the Commonwealth. Its vision is to achieve excellence in both health care and health.
Mr. Kern's duties have already begun after the association’s annual meeting and he will serve until November 2012.
