Norfolk, VA (February 2012)- Roger Watkins, M.D., has joined Sentara Internal Medicine Physicians in Williamsburg.
Dr. Watkins earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1985 after receiving his BA in Zoology at George Washington University. After completing his internship and residency in 1988, also at Eastern Virginia Medical School, he served a year as Chief Resident at the VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Watkins is a skilled and experienced internal medicine physician whose primary focus is adult medicine. Using the most up-to-date health information and technology, he partners with patients to be their guide for health maintenance and preventive care. He is also there to be a problem solver should acute issues arise. Dr. Watkins takes the care of his patients very seriously, believing that the most important service a doctor can provide to the patient is to listen.
Dr. Watkins and Sentara Internal Medicine Physicians are located in Williamsburg’s New Town area.
