Virginia Beach, VA (November 2012) – Kristin Green, PA-C, has joined Sentara Hospital Medicine Physicians in Virginia Beach, VA.
Ms. Green completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at South University in Savannah, GA, in 2008 where she was named to the Dean’s List and the President’s List. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in microbiology & cell sciences and nutritional sciences in 2004 at the University of Florida in Gainsville, earning the Bright Futures scholarship and the Earnst F. Lamothe Agricultural scholarship.
Before moving to the Hampton Roads area, Ms. Green worked collaboratively with a team of surgeons at a urology clinic in Jacksonville, FL, gaining valuable experience providing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions. She is skillfully trained to examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays, develop treatment plans, perform laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures and manage pre-operative education and post-operative patient care.
Ms. Green is focused on providing quality care and a positive experience for her patients while in the hospital. Ms. Green is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Further, she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.
