Virginia Beach, VA (June 2013) – Anne Louise Schreiber, MSN, CFNP, has joined Sentara Family Medicine Physicians in Virginia Beach, VA.
Ms. Schreiber received her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, in 2007.
As a skilled nurse practitioner, Ms. Schreiber is highly trained to provide primary care to patients of all ages. She is experienced in family, internal and psychiatric medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and has worked for five years at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in the cardiac care unit. Her responsibilities include conducting numerous medical procedures and providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in collaboration with the physicians. Ms. Schreiber stresses the importance of disease prevention through education. She provides counseling for each individual’s unique health issues in an effort to help her patients maintain the best possible health long after they leave the office.
Ms. Schreiber is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She is active with the ALS Association, as well as other community outreach programs.
