Williamsburg, VA (April 2013) – Catherine A. White, FNP-C, has joined Sentara Family Medicine Physicians in Williamsburg, VA.
Ms. White received her Master of Science in Nursing degree, specializing in family medicine, at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, in 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, cum laude, at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, in 2005.
As a family nurse practitioner, Ms. White is trained to conduct numerous medical procedures, provide a broad range of diagnostic services, and treat, evaluate and manage short-term and chronic illnesses and health conditions. She is a skilled healthcare provider with experience in neonatal intensive care, pediatric, and family practice clinic environments.
While Ms. White focuses on providing nursing services unique to each patient, she is also committed to building a strong relationship with patients through education and counseling on preventive healthcare. She works in close collaboration with the team of professionals at Sentara Family Medicine Physicians to ensure quality care for all members of the family.
Ms. White is a US Air Force veteran and continued to provide nursing services at Langley Air Force Base until 2012. She is certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Nursing Association and the Virginia Nurses Association.
