Gloucester, VA (March 2013) – Christina Jamieson, MSN, CPNP, has joined Sentara Pediatric Physicians in Gloucester, VA.
Mrs. Jamieson earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, in 2001 where she was an honor student. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, in 1994 and was awarded the ODU and Uniformed Health Services Scholarship.
Mrs. Jamieson is a highly skilled pediatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience in both hospital and primary care environments. She is experienced in ambulatory and newborn primary healthcare management and dedicated to educating about, and improving response time to, domestic violence and child maltreatment.
In between her employments at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA, she served as a pediatric nurse at naval centers in Italy, Bahrain and Kuwait. Mrs. Jamieson’s responsibilities include a broad range of diagnostic services in providing therapeutic care to children of all ages.
Mrs. Jamieson is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and certified in Nursing Forensics.
