Norfolk, VA (January 2013) – Domingo J. Solomon, PA-C, has joined Sentara Surgery Specialists in Norfolk, VA.
Mr. Solomon completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at Bethel University in McKenzie, TN, in 2012 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, in 2007.
As a physician assistant, Mr. Solomon provides care in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings. His clinical rotations gave him valuable experience in the areas of family, internal and emergency medicine, orthopedics with a subspecialty in sports medicine, and general surgery. Mr. Solomon is trained to examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays, and provide pre- and post-operative care.
Mr. Solomon is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In addition, he is member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Mr. Solomon instructed students’ laboratory studies of anatomy and physiology at Tidewater Community College. He served as a volunteer at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and continues volunteering in the community. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, running outdoors, photography and cooking.
