Williamsburg, VA (June 2013) – Elizabeth H. Ellis, PA-C, has joined Sentara Urgent Care in Williamsburg.
Ms. Ellis completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA, in 2012 after earning a bachelor’s degree in biology at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, in 2006, where she was on the Dean's List.
As a physician assistant, Ms. Ellis is trained to examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays, diagnose and treat injuries and medical conditions, and instruct and counsel patients. She is focused on providing quality care for patients of all ages who need immediate assistance with urgent issues such as respiratory problems, splinting, suturing and biopsies. Ms. Ellis works in close collaboration with the team of medical professionals at Sentara Urgent Care to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Ms. Ellis is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). A strong believer in community service, she has volunteered for rescue missions and free clinics for several years.
