Virginia Beach, VA (January 2013) - Elizabeth Willette, NP, has joined Sentara Cardiology Specialists in Virginia Beach.
Ms. Willette earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, in 2006 after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Washburn University in Topeka, KS, in 2003.
As a nurse practitioner, Ms. Willette has worked closely with interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists in hospital and private practice settings. She is trained to conduct numerous medical procedures and provide a wide range of diagnostic and management services for patients with heart conditions that include angina, arrhythmias, heart attack, heart disease, heart failure and hypertension. Ms. Willette works in close collaboration with physicians and other professionals on the cardiology team at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital to provide optimum heart health and specialized care for patients during their hospital experience and beyond.
Ms. Willette is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a member of the American Nurses Association and the Virginia Nurses Association and has an article published in Progress in Cardiovascular Nursing. She served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Sentara Hospice Program, and continues to enjoy other volunteer activities in the community.
