Norfolk, VA (February 2013) – Keith Espiritu, MD, has joined Sentara Family Medicine Physicians.
Dr. Espiritu earned his medical degree from De La Salle University in Dasmarinas, Philippines, in 2004 after receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in business administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He completed his residency in the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) affiliated Bon Secours St. Francis Family Medicine Residency program in Midlothian, VA.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Espiritu is trained to provide comprehensive and continuing quality health care for every member of the family, through all stages of their lives. He specializes in diagnosing, treating and effectively managing acute illness and chronic conditions in his patients. Dr. Espiritu also provides routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations and screening tests, and personalized counseling on proper diet and preventive care in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Espiritu is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Medical Society of Virginia. In his spare time, he enjoys visiting different countries, trying various cuisines, exercising, movies and a good discussion of current events.
