Norfolk, VA (August 2013) – Patterson O. Lee, MD, has joined Sentara Hospital Medicine Physicians in Norfolk.
Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from De La Salle University–College of Medicine in Dasmarinas City, Cavite, Philippines. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ, in 2001.
As a hospitalist, Dr. Lee focuses on the care of patients in the hospital. Highly trained in internal medicine and experienced in delivering care in hospital settings, he works with all other specialists involved with the patient to ensure continuity of quality care. He also collaborates with primary care physicians to ensure quality care upon the patient's discharge from the hospital and beyond.
Dr. Lee’s fluency in English and Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines, benefits both him and patients who find it easier to express their concerns about health issues in their native language. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
In his leisure time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his family.
