WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (January 2014) – Sentara Urgent Care in Williamsburg has added a new member to the team, Anna Stankiewicz, MD, and continues to serve the urgent care needs of the community 12 hours a day, seven days a week.
As an urgent care physician, Dr. Stankiewicz is highly trained and experienced to provide a prompt evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to patients with immediate illnesses and injuries. No appointment is necessary. Sentara neighborhood urgent care practices offer walk-in care seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Dr. Stankiewicz earned her medical degree at the University of Sint Eustatius Medical School in Sint Eustatius, Netherlands Antilles in 2002 after receiving her Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in Orthopaedic Biomechanics at Columbia University in New York in 1999. She served as chief resident at Mountainside Family Practice Associates in Verona, N.J.
As a member of Sentara Urgent Care, Dr. Stankiewicz provides compassionate care to patients of all ages who need prompt medical attention. Dr. Stankiewicz is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American College for Advancement in Medicine. She has received the Patients’ Choice Award six years running from Vitals.com. Dr. Stankiewicz is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is also fluent in Polish.
