The Sentara Auxiliary is composed of more than 150 dedicated volunteers who assist Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in many ways. The volunteers also give freely of their time and talents by coordinating fundraising activities to benefit the hospital.
In addition to supporting the hospital's mission, the Auxiliary offers a wonderful chance to meet new and interesting people. There are several social activities each year that allow members to get to know each other. Auxiliary members also enjoy a 20 percent discount in the Garden Cafe.
The Gift Shop at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is operated by the Auxiliary and all proceeds are used to support much needed projects. Also, every holiday season, the Auxiliary sponsors the Love Light Tree which gives community members a chance to honor a loved one or special friend. These services are only a sample of how the Auxiliary supports Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.
