Infusion Therapy in Northern Virginia
Our Outpatient Infusion Center, located at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, is a state-of-the-art facility designed with the patients’ needs in mind. It offers a convenient outpatient setting for patients who require frequent infusions of medications. Experienced registered nurses specializing in intravenous therapy provide infusion services.
The Infusion Center offers a comfortable alternative for you similar to home infusion. Patients receive their infusion in a cozy recliner or stretcher bed and may watch movies, listen to music, read, or relax.

We also offer assessment, evaluation, and educational materials to prepare you for infusion therapy. We are committed to work with your primary physician to coordinate your care. Please note that a physician order is required. We have established insurance pre-authorization guidelines for Infusion Center patients.
Infusion Center Hours of Operation
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The last appointment is scheduled at 3 p.m.
The center is closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
