Woodbridge, Virginia – Updated December 2, 2013 – Construction on expanded healthcare facilities has begun at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC). The expansion project will allow SNVMC to serve additional patients as the Northern Virginia community continues to grow. SNVMC is pleased to further its investment in patient care and optimize the healthcare environment within Prince William County.
Construction on the current SNVMC campus will commence over the coming weeks and fencing will be erected to enclose the construction site. New traffic patterns will be identified with signage along Opitz Boulevard and on campus, beginning with the closure of the access road on campus between the second hospital entrance (right turnoff just past the main entrance at Potomac Center Boulevard) and the west entrance (at River Rock Way).
