Lorton, Virginia, May 2013 — A new chapter in the story of Sentara Healthcare’s commitment to Northern Virginia is unfolding in the Southeastern Fairfax community. With the opening of the newest Sentara Lorton Marketplace Emergency Care Center, Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is bringing the highly successful concept of the nearby Lake Ridge outpatient model to Lorton.
This is consistent with Sentara’s goal to provide high quality services in Northern Virginia and improve
access for residents of the southeastern Fairfax community.
Providing outpatient services in the Lorton area will cut patient travel time and provide quality care close to home. Just seven miles south on 95, Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is the nearest hospital to the Lorton area.
