Janet Reese is originally from North Carolina. She attended Erlanger Nursing School in Chattanooga, Tenn., and spent six years in the U.S. Navy. She completed her BS in Christian Ministry at Crown College in Minnesota, and returned to Virginia to complete a CPE hospital residency with Bon Secours. She has worked in chaplaincy since 1998, working for Sentara since 2006. She is currently completing an MS in leadership.
