The Tidewater Burn Survivors Support Group was established in October 2012 with the assistance of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to bring together like minded burn survivors who wish to give of themselves to help other burn survivors and their families.
We are the first and only support group for burn survivors in the Hampton Roads region. We dedicated this support group to the brave patients who have suffered a burn injury. Our purpose is to provide a forum to share stories, celebrate clinical progress and provide emotional support, making their recovery a personal success.
Our primary focus is to meet the unique needs of the burn survivors in the Hampton Roads area, and to provide a positive environment for new burn victims and their families to have hope and understanding.
