The Tidewater Burn Survivors was established in October 2012 with the assistance of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to bring together like minded burn survivors who wish to give of themselves to help other burn survivors and their families.
We are the first and only support group for burn survivors in the Hampton Roads region. We dedicated this support group to the brave patients who have suffered a burn injury. Our purpose is to provide a forum to share stories, celebrate clinical progress and provide emotional support, making their recovery a personal success.
Our main focus is to meet the special needs of the burn survivors in Hampton Roads, and to provide an environment for new burn victums and familes to have hope and understanding.
How to Join:
The Tidewater Burn Survivors group is free to burn survivors, and is comprised of burn survivors, families, Sentara volunteers, and a chaplain. Please join us in person at our monthly meetings or virtually through our Facebook group.
