Donate Stock and Securities, or Real Estate
Gifts of Stocks and securities benefit the donor as well as Sentara programs and services since the donor may avoid paying capital gains tax.
You can give by way of transferring stocks and other assets or investments you currently own, including real estate.

Plannined giving can be of great value to Sentara Health Foundation and may provide advantages to the donor.
All gifts benefit Sentara Healthcare and are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Create a living trust of annuity: Consider naming Sentara Health Foundation as the beneficiary to your living trust or create a Charitable Gift Annuity. Both options will pay an income for life to you or a loved-one and benefit healthcare in your community.
