What is the employment process?
The Sentara employment process consists of the completion of an application and applicable skills testing, both completed electronically via the Web or at one of our Employment Centers.
When scheduling testing or applying in person, please keep in mind that our space is limited. Therefore, we request that you visit our Employment Centers individually.

From I-64 (Westbound)
Take the Magruder Boulevard exit #262.
Turn right at the first light onto Hardy Cash Drive.
Follow Hardy Cash into the main entrance of Sentara CarePlex Hampton Campus.
Employment Center is located on the 4th floor of the Hampton River Medical Arts Building, located at the far left end of the campus.
From I-64 (Eastbound)
Take the Hampton Roads Center Parkway exit #261-B.
Turn right at the first traffic light onto Coliseum Drive.
Turn left at the first traffic light into the main entrance of CarePlex Hampton Campus.

Merge onto LYNNHAVEN PARKWAY
Turn RIGHT onto S LYNNHAVEN ROAD (McDonalds on the right at this intersection)
Turn LEFT onto GOLDEN OAK COURT (Reflections Office Park)
From Downtown Norfolk/Portsmouth:
Merge onto I-264 East toward DOWNTOWN TUNNEL/NORFOLK.
Stay on I-264 East towards Virginia Beach
Take the LYNNHAVEN PARKWAY SOUTH exit- exit number 19A.
Merge onto LYNNHAVEN PARKWAY
Turn RIGHT onto SOUTH LYNNHAVEN ROAD (McDonalds on the right at this intersection)
Turn LEFT onto GOLDEN OAK COURT (Reflections Office Park)
From the Virginia Beach/Oceanfront Area:
Take I-264 West
Take the LYNNHAVEN PARKWAY SOUTH exit- exit number 19A.
Merge onto LYNNHAVEN PARKWAY.
Turn RIGHT onto SOUTH LYNNHAVEN ROAD (McDonalds on the right at this intersection)
