How do you know that a career choice is right for you? Without real world experiences or having opportunities to explore career options, choosing a career path can become difficult.

Volunteering Opportunities at Sentara Healthcare
Becoming a volunteer is easy. Simply call the facility nearest you for an application. Applications for the Junior Volunteer program in the hospital system are accepted during the Spring for Summer sessions.
Explorer Club Opportunities at Sentara Healthcare
Explorer Clubs are evening meetings held monthly on-site at our hospitals for teens from the ages of 14-19. The Explorer Club is hosted currently at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital in Williamsburg and Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk. The Explorer Club provides speakers and tours for you to get information about careers in healthcare. The club runs throughout the school year.
