Heart/Cardiac Services
Sentara Bayside Hospital (SBH) offers cardiac diagnostic testing and heart rehabilitation in a community hospital environment. Located in Virginia Beach, patients in need of more acute heart care such as heart surgery, interventional cardiology or heart transplantation have comfort knowing they have access to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH). Many of the SBH board certified cardiologists also work at SNGH.

Heart/Cardiac Rehabilitation
Sentara Heart Rehabilitation involves services delivered to hospitalized cardiac patients and outpatient rehabilitation for all patients following heart surgery or a heart attack. Individualized programs that address risk factor modification, exercise, nutrition, psychological and vocational needs are included. Also, Sentara offers community-based facilities with ongoing fitness and healthy lifestyle programs designed especially for patients with heart disease.
