As a courtesy, we bill you health insurance directly. Your surgeon, anesthesiologist, radiologist (if consulted) and pathologist (if consulted) will bill your health insurance directly.
Please note the following:
Copays and deductibles are collected before surgery.
Only cash, check, MasterCard and Visa are accepted. Call our Billing Department (757) 496-6400 for additional financial questions.
Dental surgery is paid by your hospital insurance, not your dental insurance. Verify your coverage with your health insurance provider or employer.
Worker’s compensation requires more information. If your surgery is a result of a work accident, we require the following information before surgery:
Your worker’s compensation insurance/carrier name
The agent (person) to contact at your workplace
Your employer’s address at time of injury
Date and time of your accident
Your claim number
If you do not have insurance or if you are having cosmetic surgery, we require surgery payment on or before admission. A procedure estimate will be available from our business office. Following surgery, we will process an actual bill indicating the final charge and any unpaid balance, which must be paid within 30 days.
